Bathurst Region - Live, Visit, Invest, Study

From light retail therapy to buying large items for your home Bathurst offers a range of retail services.

The Central Business District is easily laid out and you can access the three major shopping Centres - Stocklands, Bathurst Chase and the newly built Bathurst City Centre within easy walking distance of each other. Boutique clothing and specialty stores are located either within these centres or in the main streets.

Keppel Street offers a unique cluster of boutique shops and cafes and is also home to the City Library and Regional Art Gallery.

Neighbourhood Shopping Centres which carry all the essential supplies and specialty shops are located at Trinity Heights, Windradyne (West Point Shopping Centre) and Kelso.

Farmers market

The Bathurst Services and Trade Centre offers residents the opportunity to preview showrooms of trade stores such as plumbing suppliers, kitchen manufacturers, glass supplier, etc.

If you're after a ‘big ticket' item for your home or business, Kelso is just 4 minutes from the CBD and is home to two main bulky goods centres. Retailers include Harvey Norman, Good Guys, Boating Camping and Fishing, Bunnings, Sleep Zone, 1825, Fantastic Furniture, Pet Barn, Lounges Plus and more.

The Bathurst Region Farmer's Market is held at Bathurst Showground on the fourth Saturday of each month, 8am - 12 noon unless otherwise stated. The Markets offer the community the opportunity to purchase food, plants and value-added produce directly from the grower/maker. Providers sell everything the region has to offer, including fresh meat, cheese, fruit, vegetables and plants. For more information on the Markets please visit:
